Interesting Notes
The Warrior Classic is perhaps the largest, pre-holiday prep wrestling tournament in the Southwestern United States. It features some of the best high school wrestlers from all divisions in a multi-state region that includes: Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming and Utah who compete for championships in their weight classes.
The Warrior Classic began as a small pre-holiday eight team tournament in Centrals small gymnasium 31 years ago. Now the tournament hosts thirty-four teams. Attendance has been a great success and has ensured that we can continue to host such a great tournament.
The Warrior Classic is truly a 'class act' and showcases wrestling at its best.
